Before you start stropping
Keep in mind that you strop your knife are you have sharpened it first. You can, however, delay the sharpening process by regularly stropping your knife right after you have purchased it. Our advice, however, is to properly pre-sharpen your knife beforehand. This is how you end up with the best results.
